The ESS Enterprise EX-01 was the frist craft built in Wilcslandian history to fly. It was built by citizens of the Kingdom of the Taklamacan around 2006.
Name[]
The EX-01 Enteprise was named for both the fictional starships of the same name (as was the case of the NASA shuttle Enterprise OV-101 and the Virgin Galactic spacecraft the VSS Enterprise) and after a small Atlantian water craft known simply as the Enterprise. Other names where suggested includeing Voyager and Horizon.
Mission[]
The EX-01 was a very early craft and had a smiple misson. It carried a message and information regarding where it had come from. The hope was that if found then it may be reported. It was a small pod rigged to balloons. The launch went without problems and raised some attention from the students in the school where it was launched from. However the Enterprise was never reported found. She was followed by the ESS Enterprise EX-01-A who carried her name and registration number in honour of the first flight.
Theorys[]
As the EX-01-A was being designed the rigging was redesigned as some suggested the it was not strong enough and worried the EX-01 may have not traveled far outside the Sarum area. These views were pressed before the launch of the EX-01 but it was decided that the next craft would be modified.
