Orly (known as the Caesarship of Orly to differentiate it from its later incarnation) was a short lived nation comprising the Grove Park in Carshalton, Great Britain. Geographically close to the Empire of Austenasia, and recognising the suzerainty of the Emperor of Austenasia, the two nations in fact held no constitutional links or mutual recognition.
Orly was founded on 4 July 2010 after a Declaration of Independence was proposed by some of the park's frequent users a few days previously, who had been inspired by Austenasia after the immense interest in micronationalism in the local community generated by the Austenasian Civil War.
Sir Calum Jarvis, KPP, was granted the title of Caesar by Emperor Esmond of Austenasia, who also delegated to him authority to rule over Orly, as long as that was the wish of the Orlian people.
On 19 July, Orly was dissolved by an edict of the Caesar, who divided it into two kingdoms: the Kingdom of the Grove, of which he himself became King, and the Kingdom of Copan, the throne of which went to Declan I of Moylurg.
